CATEDRÁTICO DE PINTURA, FACULTAD DE BELLAS ARTES, U.C.M MADRID.
Nacido en Cacabelos , León en 1942
Formado en la Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes “San
Fernando” de Madrid, Licenciado y Doctor. Es profesor des-
de 1966, obteniendo Cátedra de
Universidad –Pintura- en 1979 en la Universidad de Barcelona y desde 1981 en
la Facultad de
Bellas Artes de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
Además de varios cargos académicos, viene promoviendo y
dirigiendo cursos de verano en relación con la Natu-
raleza y el Paisaje: Marruecos, Segovia,
Albarracín, Cacabelos, El Escorial,etc.
En su actividad creativa, ha realizado unas 35 exposiciones
individuales e incontables colectivas
entre España y
Latinoamérica y obtenido más de cincuenta
premios y distinciones destacables,
entre los que están el Premio Con-
greso de los Diputados
1985, Premio BMW de Pintura 1992,
Premio Ciudad de Florencia 2000, Premio Castilla y
León a
las Artes 1996. Obras en diversos
museos nacionales y extranjeros, entre otros el Reina Sofía.
Ha publica-
do artículos y es autor del libro “Olvidar lo aprendido”, colección Ensayo de las
Artes, Junta Castilla y León.

Been born in Cacabelos, Leon in 1942
Painter and University professor of University. Formed in
the Superior School of Beautiful Arts "San Fernando"
of Madrid, Lawyer and Doctor. He is professor
from 1966, obtaining Chair of University - Painting in 1979
in the
University of Barcelona and from 1981 in the
Faculty of Beautiful Arts of the University Complutensian of
Ma -
drid.
In addition to several academic positions, it comes
promoting and directing courses from summer inrelation with
the Nature and the Landscape: Morocco, Segovia, Albarracín,
Cacabelos, The Dump,etc.
In his creative activity, it has made 35 collective
individual and countless exhibitions between Spain and
obtaen-
ed Latin America and more than fifty
remarkable prizes and distinctions,between that they are the
Prize Congress
of Deputies 1985, Painting Prize BMW 1992, Prize City of
Florence 2000, Prize Castile and Leon to Arts 1996.
Works in diverse national and foreign museums, among others
Reina Sofía. It has published articles and he is
author of "To forget the learned thing", collection Test of
the Arts, Meeting Castile and Leon.
